Woodie Flowers Award Presented to our Coach, Williane Tenca
Small Parts, Inc. presents the Woodie Flowers Award to an outstanding engineer or teacher participating in each of the robotics Regional Competitions. Students choose and write about a person on their team who best demonstrates excellence in teaching science, math, and creative design.
2005 Awards
PNW Rookie All-Star Award The most prestigious award a rookie team can achieve. We ranked 15th in the qualification rounds and made it all the way to the semi-finals. Thanks to teams 1566 and 1087. Only four awards at each regional qualify a team to attend championships. The rookie all-star award is one of them.
Highest Rookie Seed Award - Championship - Atlanta, Georgia We ranked 2nd in our division’s qualification rounds, consisting of 85 teams.
Curie Division Finalist Award - - Championship - Atlanta, Georgia 340 teams attended the Championship. The teams are divided in 4 divisions. Only the first place alliances compete for the Championship award. We also made it all the way to finals in our division, placing second and practically breaking a record for having a rookie team doing so well. Thanks to teams 337 and 85!
